Ölçme ve Değerlendirme

Öğrencilerimiz okulun ilk haftasında uluslararası bir kurum tarafından hazır bulunuşluk testine tabi olunur. Bu teste öğrencilerin dil bilgisi, kelime bilgisi ve konuşma yönünden seviyesi tespit edilmektedir. 

Yıl içinde öğrencilerimiz Avrupa Dil Portfolyosunda belirtildiği gibi dilin 4 becerisi esas alınarak değerlendirilir. 4 dil becerisinin yanı sıra (okuma, yazma, konuşma ve dinleme) aktivite derslerinde de öğrenciler dili pratik etme imkanı bulmaktadırlar. Dil bilgisi (gramer) derslerinde öğrenciler ünite sonlarında küçük sınavlar olmaktadırlar. Okuma dersinde de okudukları kitaplarla ilgili değerlendirme sınavları yapılmaktadır. Bu küçük sınavların ortalaması öğrencilere bir performans notu olarak verilmektedir.

Yazılı sınavlarımız da öğrencil erin farklı dil becerilerini ölçmeye yönelik uygulanmaktadır. Öğrenciler okuma, yazma, dil bilgisi-kelime ve dinleme olmak üzere 4 sınava girerler. Öğrencilerin İngilizce sınav notu hesaplanırken dil bilgisi dersi %25, okuma dersi %25, yazma dersi %25 ve dinleme dersi de %25 etki etmektedir. Her dönem bu sınavlardan 2 tane yapılmaktadır. 

Bu sınavların dışında her bir öğrenciye biri uluslarası bir kurum diğeri de okulumuz öğretmenleri tarafından olmak üzere 2 tane sözlü sınav uygulanır. Sözlü sınav sonuçları öğrencinin uygulama notu olarak e-okul sistemine yazılır. Öğrencilerin aktivite dersinde yaptıkları sunumların da not ortalaması alınarak bir performans notu olarak sisteme işlenir. Diğer bir performans notu da öğrencinin dönem boyunca olan ders katılımı göz önüne alınarak derse giren 4 öğretmen tarafından ortak olarak verilir. 

In the first week of the school, our students are subjected to a placement test by an international institution. In this test, students' level of grammar, vocabulary and speaking are assessed. 

Throughout the year, our students are assessed on the basis of four skills of the language as stated in the European Language Portfolio. In addition to 4 skills ( reading, writing, speaking and listening), students also have the opportunity to practice the language in activity lessons. In grammar lessons, students take quizzes at the end of the units. In addition to this, reading exams are also held for the books they read. The average of these quizzes is given to the students as a performance mark. 

Our written exams are also used to measure different language skills of students. Students take 4 exams: reading, writing, grammar-vocabulary and listening. While calculating the English exam grade of the students, the grammar exam results affect 25%, the reading 25%, the writing 25% and the listening 25%. Students take these exams twice each semester. 

Apart from these exams, each student is given two oral exams, one is given by an international institute and the other one is given by our school teachers. The results of the oral exams are written to the e-school system as the students' 'practice' grade. The average grade of the presentations done by the students in the activity lesson is also recorded in the system as a performance mark. Another performance grade is given by four teachers considering the students' course participation.
