Güngören ITO Kız Anadolu imam Hatip Lisesi'nde Islami çalışma derslerinin bir parçası olarak: Temel Dini Bilgiler ve Siyer dersleri 9. ve 10. sınıf öğrencilerine Ingilizce olarak verilmektedir.

Dersler sırasında öğrenciler Islam Tarihindeki bazı olayları görsel olarak canlandırıyor. Islam'da en çok tartışılan konular hakkında sunumlar hazırlıyor ve ders konularıyla ile ilgili videolar izliyorlar.

Bu projenin amacı; öğrencileri dinleri hakkında konuşabilecek, diğer dillerdeki konuşmacılarla dinler hakkında tartışabilecek şekilde eğitmektir. Dinlerini gerektiğinde açıklayabilecek ve insanların Müslümanlar ve İslam hakkındaki yanlış düşüncelerini aşmalarına yardımcı olacaklar. Biz günümüz gençlerinin değişiklik yapabileceğine ve tüm dünyadaki klişelerin ve çatışmaların üstesinden gelebileceğine inanıyoruz. Biliyoruz ki bizler sadece çevremizdeki insanlardan değil, aynı zamanda tüm dünyadaki insanlardan da sorumluyuz.

In Güngören ITO Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High school as a part of the Islamic studies lessons: Basic Principle of Islam and Life of prophet Muhammed lessons are given in English language to 9th and 10th grade students.

During the lessons students act out some of the events in the Islamic History, they prepare presentations about some of the most discussed topics in Islam and also watch videos related to the topics of the lessons. The purpose of this project is to educate students in a way that they can talk about their religion, have discussions about the religions with the speakers of other languages. They will be able to explain their religion when it is necessary and help people overcome their misconceptions about Muslims and Islam. We believe that todays generation can make a change and overcome all the stereotypes and conflicts all around the world. As we believe that we are not only responsible of the people around us but also from the people all around the world.
